Yep, she sure is a Ridgeback -- but she's a cross. She has a VERY prominent ridge, and so did her brothers. No way to tell what she's crossed with, but the brothers were black and white like some labs are. She and Henry look the same in coat color and most markings, but have completely different personalities, barks, and other mannerisms.

It's hard to get a good shot of her ridge -- this is the best one I have. When the camera comes out, most pictures of her and up looking like this.

First off - Congratulations getting "EO" to start responding to you and not so much to her surroundings. This means trust! Yay!

You ought to oat yourself on the back - but, you probably won't - You sound like you are more excited about EO's accomplishments, than your own - which is proof of a great dog owner.

Is EO a ridgeback? Sure looks lile it from the photo on your site. I raise Ridgebacks and breed a little myself. I have an AKC Grand Champion sire here at home with me by the call name of "Spencer".

Anyway - these are very sensitive and amazing dogs. If they trust you, barely a correction other than voice will be needed. But that may take some time.

Good luck, and great work - thanks for caring so much.
